We revealed recently that suburbs such as Toowong, Taringa, Indooroopilly and St Lucia are generating huge numbers of searches on Realestate.com.au. Yet many Sellers are still uncertain if they should launch their property for sale.

With only a small number of properties currently on the market, there are ways you can find your perfect home if you are in a position to buy.

Ensure your finance is pre-approved

Make it known that your finance is pre-approved and for the right property, you are ready to submit a written offer. In the eyes of the Seller, this demonstrates that you are serious about purchasing now.

Register for off-market opportunities

Reach out to an experienced, local agent to see if they have any suitable properties that may be coming to the market, or available as a pre-market sale.

CoreLogic has recently reported a 12% week on week increase in pre-listing activities, which could suggest that homeowners are beginning discussions with an agent about potentially selling.
