Frew Park Christmas Extravaganza

Are you ready to get the family into the Christmas spirit?

This Saturday 30th November, the BCC is hosting a Christmas Extravaganza in Frew Park!

The community event includes free rides, a special visit from Santa, food trucks, a petting zoo, face painting and live music. You can also bring a chair or picnic blanket along and stay to watch The Grinch in the park with free popcorn.

Mt Coot-tha will also host a range of Christmas activities this December, with fun planned for the young and the young at heart.

  • Create Christmas cards from natural and recycle materials
  • Learn how to make a Christmas wreath
  • Join in a Christmas wrapping paper workshop
  • Create beautiful handmade decorations for your tree
  • Make some yummy gingerbread treats

All workshops are free to attend and run throughout December at the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. For dates and times, please click here.
